Andy Conors
I am 28 years of age. I have been here since 2002. Over the last seven years I have learnt how to look after myself and do things for myself like learning to shave myself and cook meals, set the table and use my mobility skills. My mobility skills when I first came here weren't great but now I have learned to walk from the house to Donabate village. I love living here. I get on great with everyone and the staff. I go to the training centre in Rush (Prosper Fingal) where I learn life skills, computers and community integration. I love community integration, getting out and meeting the community is great, I like meeting people. My favourite thing about living here is the freedom it gives us. I love going to the Pavillions in Swords to meet my friends who don't live here. I have learned how to make tea and coffee and hoover the house. I don't mind hovering but I hate emptying the dishwasher because it's hard. I used to play guitar but I gave it up a while ago. Its great living with all of your friends.
